Below are descriptions of the two services I offer: proofreading and copyediting. Please note that the descriptions are meant to provide you with a general sense of what each service entails. The descriptions are not exhaustive, and I am happy to chat more with you about what types of feedback your unique text requires.

Cost is dependent on the length, complexity, and specific requirements of your text. I am happy to work with you to determine an appropriate cost for your proofreading or copyediting needs depending on the particularities of your project.
It can be helpful to talk through your project's needs or feedback aloud. If you would like to set up a phone or video call to discuss your project at any point, the first hour is free. Every fifteen minute segment following the free hour will be billed at $10.

Accepted forms of payment: Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, or check.
Proofreading
Estimated $3 per page
Proofreading is a lighter version of copyediting which checks spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization, formatting, and consistency.
Copyediting
Estimated $5 per page
Copyediting includes proofreading but also provides more nuanced, large-scale feedback. I will offer suggestions to help improve the clarity, structure, and flow of your writing.
If, due to unforeseen circumstances, I am unable to provide you with a service you have already paid for, you will be given a refund. On the rare occasion that your text is returned to you with minimal or no comments, please know that I did undergo the labor of carefully proofreading or copyediting your text as promised and, therefore, cannot offer a refund.
